It's no secret that I have favorite poses. I believe everyone in this field has go-to options that make up a good bit of every session. For each different occasion (families, couples, siblings, weddings... etc) I have my comfort poses that I pull out every time. They're those poses that just make me happy even if half the time I'm explaining them to my clients I get odd looks and awkward movements. However, the results speak for themselves, so I just keep doing it.
The 'Wrap-Around' pose
I have a variety of fun ways to move my couples into this pose, ranging from the completely absurd to the somewhat normal. Most of the time the instruction has to begin with couples arms out in airplane mode with a heavy tilt before wrapping arms up or else the arm wrap placement can end up awkward and uncomfortable. But once the fun of the instruction gets those skeptical smiles started, the photos captured are fun and sweetness-filled.
